    Advent Conversation|
You are invited to join Rev. Kerri for a potluck dinner and conversation on Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
As we enjoy a meal together, we’ll discuss in small table groups the Advent themes of “Announcement, “Visistation”, and “Travel”.
Please sign up at the back of the church, or email your RSVP to Rev. Kerri, priest@stjames-manotick.ca.

Indigenous Relations Circle – Dinner & Movie Night
Join the Indigenous Relations Circle for dinner and a movie on Saturday, November 23 from 6-9 pm. We will watch “Doctrine of Discovery: Stolen lands, Strong Hearts”, a film about a devastating decision, made over 500 years ago, that continues to profoundly impact Indigenous and Settler people worldwide. Pope Alexander VI ruled that the lands being discovered by European explorers at the time was “empty” land and its millions of Indigenous inhabitants were “non-human”. This film is one of the responses of the Anglican Church’s Primate’s Commission on Discovery, Reconciliation and Justice.
